The processing process<\/strong> begins at our collection centers<\/strong>, where experienced pickers bring in the fresh, quality mushrooms and berries<\/strong> they have found on the day. Within hours, refrigerated vehicles transfer the cleaned and sorted harvest to our plants. Cleaning and processing<\/span><\/h4><\/div><\/div>

Freshly harvested produce must be cleaned and processed<\/strong> as soon as it arrives from the collection centers. During this first stage, qualified lab personnel perform cleaning operations and an initial manual sorting<\/strong>, followed by instrumental inspection<\/strong> (by metal detector) to ensure the total absence of foreign bodies. Sorting<\/span><\/h4><\/div><\/div>

Once the fully cleaned and washed produce has been obtained, our experts will begin sorting<\/strong> it.<\/p>\n

Berries<\/strong><\/p>\n

Berries are sorted<\/strong> in the aero refrigerated processing rooms by means of the conveyor belt, which ends in the freezing tunnel. Under the careful inspection of our workers, fruits that are damaged or do not conform to market standards are eliminated<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Mushrooms<\/strong><\/p>\n

As for mushrooms, young and good-sized specimens<\/strong> will be distributed in wooden boxes and sent overnight to fruit and vegetable markets<\/strong> where they will be sold as fresh produce. Mushrooms that are too large<\/strong> will be sent to laboratories where they will be diced<\/strong> and then, together with the smaller mushrooms, will be placed in refrigerated cells where the cold chain route will begin for them. Blast chillers and cold storage<\/span><\/h4><\/div><\/div>

Fast freezing<\/strong> ensures that the organoleptic properties<\/strong> of foods are preserved<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Berries<\/strong><\/p>\n

As soon as the cleaning and initial processing are finished, the berries<\/strong> are sent to the spiral blast chillers<\/strong> where they will be quickly brought to a temperature below -18\u00b0, guaranteeing perfect preservation.<\/p>\n

Mushrooms<\/strong><\/p>\n

As we saw above, mushrooms that are too large<\/strong> are placed on a belt and diced<\/strong>. At the end of the operation the product is sent to a spiral blast chiller<\/strong> capable of freezing 1500kg\/h bringing the temperature to -38\u00b0.
