Arfungo Comimpex s.r.l. is an Italian company and the leading reference in the field of wild mushrooms and berries in Romania. Over the years, we have developed an extensive system to harvest, process and transport the product to the best European markets, especially the Italian one.

We guarantee the freshest and highest quality product to our customers thanks to daily collaboration with hundreds of wild product pickers and the use of specific structures and equipment both for the technological-planting part and for the storage capacity of fresh and frozen products.

Arfungo Comimpex s.r.l. was founded in 1994 from the ambitious and innovative project of Luciano Arici, Renato Arici and Maiolini Giorgio: the company’s goal was to become a reliable supplier of wild mushrooms from Romania in fruit and vegetable markets in Italy.

Romania was chosen for two reasons: the organoleptic properties and quality of its mushrooms, which closely resemble the Italian product; the great natural spread of forests throughout the country, which allowed and still allows a large and constant availability of wild products.

It was an immediate success, and the small company quickly became an important reference for local businesses and in the markets of the fresh food sector, both Italian and foreign. This initial success motivated us to develop the company until it became an industry leader in Romania.
